For the professional who wants to refine or refresh a look, I offer something that is hard to find: time, technique, and honesty about what will suit you.
I trained in Europe and spent more than ten years as a director-level stylist at José Eber and Vidal Sassoon. I have styled hair for fashion shows and for Fendi, W magazine, and Roxy, and I have been featured in Orange Coast and Women magazine.
Today I see clients one at a time at James Matthew Salon in Irvine, minutes from John Wayne Airport and the 405. Many have been with me for more than fifteen years. Some fly in from Canada, Peru, and Israel. They come back because their hair looks like them, only better, and because it is easy to care for at home.
Outside the salon I love exercise, gardening, and anything that keeps us healthy. Ask me about the bananas and coffee I grow in my backyard.
